Hampton Inn Grand Junction Downtown/Historic Main Street

Juls at the front desk is a "gem." She provided great customer service, acknowledged my membership level and thanked me for choosing the Hampden Inn. The hotel is in a great location! Downtown is beautiful. Parking is secure but you do have to pay to park- but in and out as many times as you'd like. Room is clean and comfortable. I will stay here again when I'm in Grand Junction.

This is a very clean and updated motel. Rooms are recently upgraded and super clean. Breakfast was plentiful and great variety of options and well laid out. Very pleasant. All staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel in downtown Grand Junction. Easy to walk to plenty of good restaurants and shops. Rooms were nice and clean, elevator was broken for our visit, other than carrying up the luggage it wasn't much of a problem.

The staff is awesome Kevin at the front desk is very helpful, knowledgeable, and an outstanding man. He has been patient in our situation and very kind.My wife and I are purchasing a house and we needed the hotel support of all four hotels this is the one that will help you if you need long-term stay like I have Jeremiah Braheem Kevin Raquel with room service keeping the rooms clean best place to be,are all very helpful. after a long day/night of traveling, it was such a relief to get a nice & clean hotel. Its very walkable from train station/restaurants/ car rental place (enterprise). Beds and pillows were comfy and breakfast was good!

The hotel is OK. It's in a great location but I can tell they just 'freshened' up the decor. The door frame in the bathroom is swelling at the bottom from water exposure and there's some sort of black stuff in the shower. The thermostat was finicky when we first got in the room, clicking and not changing the temperature setting. It finally worked a bit after being there for an hour. The room is pretty clean and if I weren't so observant I probably wouldn't have noticed anything. I'm more irritated that I was charged for two nights of parking and the app didn't say there would be a fee when I reserved the room. I'm also seriously annoyed that I had to use the call button to get OUT of the parking lot. I can understand restricting people coming in but that really doesn't make any sense to me. I can say that the staff has been super friendly and has tried to help as much as they could. I do appreciate that. Updated to add that the morning desk manager is refunding the parking fees. I'm now irritated that Hilton Honors will not refund tonight's points. My boyfriend's surgery was canceled last minute and I don't really need the room now.

Elevator was down when I was there. The rooms are fine, need to update furnishings. The workout room was terrible- the treadmill needs service badly or just replace it then maintain it; the belt slipped several times, causing it to be unsafe. The peloton wouldn’t turn on. There’s space was too hot, no thermostat or fan and there were no cleaning supplies to use before/after your workout (yuck). Front desk staff were friendly and responsive. The hotel was quiet and is in a good part of town with local places to eat with in walking distance.

We stayed over Thanksgiving and had to bring our dog last minute when our sitter situation fell through. I was so pleasantly surprised that this Hampton Inn is genuinely dog-friendly. Most places are dog-tolerant at best, but we all felt welcome and well-cared for. The location is super convenient, the staff were really friendly, and we had a very comfortable stay.
